Transportation
Providing door-to-door transportation for Darien residents 60+ and those residents 18+ who are physically disabled remains one of the most important services that we provide.
Did you know?
- Transportation is provided for Darien residents 60+ and those residents 18+ who are physically disabled, from anywhere within the towns of Darien, Stamford, Norwalk, and New Canaan
- Our fleet includes a Chrysler sedan and a handicap-accessible Toyota minivan – but please note, if you cannot operate your own wheelchair, or get in and out of your home of the vehicle by yourself, then you must be accompanied by an aide or caregiver
- We operate Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm, and Friday from 9 am to 1 pm (however, you can always call us if there is an important ride needed outside of these times, so give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you or see if we can help find an alternative transportation source)
- Our professional drivers will take you to medical appointments, physical therapy, hair or nail appointments, the grocery store, downtown shops, the Mather Center, your club, the DCA, the library, the YMCA, local restaurants for lunch, and more. Wherever you’d like to go!
If you haven’t tried our service . . . it’s easy. Just give us a call and we will walk you through the process. We just need details of your trip (day, time, destination) and we will do the rest!
Call us at 203-655-2227. We look forward to speaking with you and planning out your ride(s)!
