Gina Zarra Blum was appointed Executive Director of At Home In Darien in June 2011. Previously, Gina served as Assistant to the Director of the Stamford Senior Center, Coordinator of the Collaborative Alliance of Fairfield County, President of the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk and Chairman of the Fairfield County Women’s Center at Norwalk Community College. Gina holds a B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford. Her husband, children, and dog keep her busy but she enjoys finding time to play tennis and paddle.
Michele Treacy began working for At Home In Darien in March 2020. Previously, she was an active volunteer with the Hindley PTO and the Junior League of Stamford Norwalk. Michele has also worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management and Loan Pricing Corp. She holds a B.A. from Fordham University and an MBA from NYU. In addition to spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, Michele enjoys reading, walking and travelling.
Maureen Donovan joined the staff of At Home in Darien in December 2019. Previously, she has held various volunteer positions at Royle School, Middlesex Middle School, Darien High School, and St. Thomas More Church. She and her husband have lived in Darien for 23 years and raised 4 children. She holds a B.A. from the College of Mount St. Vincent in Riverdale, NY, and an MBA from Pace University in NY. In addition to paddle boarding and walking her dog, Maureen loves spending time with family and friends.
Val Freund was hired to work for At Home In Darien in April 2014. Previously she was an audit scheduler for KPMG LLP for 26 years. Val attended Berkeley Business School in White Plains, NY. She was born in Brooklyn, raised in Stamford, and now resides in Norwalk with her husband. Val enjoys walking, reading, and loves helping animals.
